PLANNING

When should I confirm my attendance?

ASAP, please! We request that you fill the RSVP form to confirm at least a month in advance, so we can make arrangements with our providers.

What's the weather like in May?

In early May, temperatures in Cordoba are usually mild, ranging from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. But it can vary - make sure to check the forecast before packing!

What do you recommend in Córdoba?

Of course, you'll find all our recommendations on the Cordoba page on this website.

Will there be a pre-wedding?

The fun starts early! We have activities planned from Thursday onwards, in addition to the pre-wedding celebrations. Head over to the Wedding page for all the details.

Do you have a gifts list?

In lieu of a wedding gifts list, we have added our bank details at the bottom of the RSVP page. Since it's tricky to transport gifts to London, this is the easiest way to give a gift or contribute towards our honeymoon if you wish to do so.

THE WEDDING

At what time should I arrive to the church?

The church being in the old town makes it much slower to access by car or taxi. Plan to arrive to San Agustín by 13:00 to avoid surprises.

In which language will the mass be?

The ceremony will be in Spanish, though there will be certain parts of the day, like some speeches, that will be in English.

How do we get to Bodegas Campos?

Bodegas Campos is just about ten minutes away by foot from San Agustín. Save both addresses on your Google Maps app and you'll get there no problem!

Will there be food during the free bar?

Don't worry about running out of steam! We'll have a late-night snack attack to keep you dancing all night long.

How long will the party go on for?

Dance the night away! The party officially ends around 2:00 AM, but we may keep the celebration going at some nearby bars that stay open late.

What's the dress code?

The dress code for Spanish weddings is formal, and follows the "never wear white" tradition. Since it's a daytime wedding and given the mild temperatures in May, you have many options to wear light or silky fabrics, and the dress length you like best. The key is for you to feel gorgeous on the day!

Should I wear a headpiece?

If you're keen to wear a hat, go for it! We have no preference, we leave it completely up to you.

What shoes should I wear?

The forecast for the day is dancing til late, so if you don't think you can give it your all in your morning heels, don't forget to bring comfy shoes so you can dance the night away!

Will you change your surnames?

As you may have guessed by the website title, we will both maintain our own surnames after the wedding. It is tradition in Spain to have two surnames, and so it will be our children who will get the full Day Diez mix.

Should I bring a gift?

Thanks for the kind gesture! Since it will be hard for us to take any gifts back to London, the best option would be to contribute to our honeymoon, which is happening later this year. We have added our banking details at the bottom of the RSVP page to make it as easy as possible for you.
